Join us for an inspiring workshop where we explore future solutions for textile waste management - with a focus on creative and circular possibilities.
On June 11th at 11-16, Kretslopp och vatten, Göteborgs Stad invites you to an inspiring workshop where we explore future solutions for textile waste management - with a focus on creative and circular possibilities.
During the day, we work hands-on with selected fractions of textile waste, such as multilayer materials and mixed fiber textiles. The aim is to identify new ways in which these challenging materials can be handled and used for new products. We challenge existing assumptions - and together we create scenarios for a future where textile waste is seen as a resource instead of a problem.
The event is aimed at those who work with:
Textile collection and sorting
Design and product development
Circular business models
Public sector and sustainability strategy
Research and innovation in textile and material flows
The workshop is conducted in collaboration with VIA University College and Wargön Innovation as part of the EU project SorTex, funded by Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak.
We look forward to a day of dialog, innovation and new perspectives on the future of textile waste!
